International Plastic Bag Free Day!

Today is international plastic bag free day! Please use reusable bags instead and help to protect wildlife and environment!

For me, every day is a plastic bag free day. It's very easy to grab one or more canvas bags from my back seat. Plastic bags should be outlawed - or at least incur a $5 deposit.

I avoid using plastic bags and like Kharon, am using recycled bags that have been lasting me for 23 years! What happened to countries outlawing the use of light plastic bags. I forgot where I saw a discussion on it. Perhaps BBC?

Here in Hawaii they are banned. And paper cost $.5. Everyone uses reusable bags or boxes.
