Hi! I'm just circling back in case someone else is interested or if there are any lurkers/searchers that are looking for some solutions. Everyone provided great ideas and I found a few more options:

Traditional power strip options (variable voltage, 100 or 110-240V)

Cube shaped (4 plugs, a few USBs, also variable voltage...was available last night but currently sold out)

Power cord splitters

I don't see how you can plug the cube shaped into a European or British socket. It has a fixed American plug.

Easy - an adapter for the country you're visiting. That goes the same for all the other power strip options, etc. Since the input voltage is compatible, that would be all you would need. So you could have 4 plugs and a few USB ports running from one plugged adapter instead of bringing many adapters

Right. So you need 2 things, not just one. OK, I'll pass.

The alternative is buying a strip specifically for each country that you want to go to. That sounds like more of a pain to store and keep. Plus, adapters are so lightweight and tiny....NBD, IMO, but to each their own. :)

The alternative is to use a small universal adapter like the one from Target that I posted above, and no power strips. If you need multiple outlets you can use a 2nd adapter like this or Belkin mini which include surge protector.

The majority of the places we go use the 2 prong (south east asia) so it was simple for me. and it will always plug into an adaptor. Most boats and resorts with camera rooms have power strips already available to divers. It is the hotels and the small eco resorts that just have 1 plug available. I find that the multiple choice adaptors are often difficult to deal with since they don't stay firmly in the wall, especially when you have an awkward charger plugged in. I would and have collected individual plugs https://www.amazon.com/Ckitze-Unive...=1-3&keywords=2+prong+south+east+asia+adapter for the countries we visit and already have the apple set.
