yup that looks like a megalodon tooth. but i know of some people in china making fake resin ones and selling em to unwarry tourists.

Here it is....my solitary meg tooth for now, not a great one, and I still haven't cleaned the encrustation from it.....

Yeah, definately a meg. They get up to 7 1/2".

Yes it sure is a meg tooth. I now have about 20 of them in my collection with the largest being 6.5 inches.
