We had a great time diving with the Whale Sharks and exploring the reefs around Isla Mujeres (which is just north of Cancun and not too far from Cozumel). Plus we got a cool Whale Shark video.

Here's what happened and what we saw:

Enjoy!!!

great info thnx

We love Isla! I first went there in 1978 when it was still a little fishing town. My wife and I honeymooned there in 1998 and went back in 2010. Stayed at Nautibeach the last two times. We'll dive there some day.

Great report and pics/video. Thanks for sharing. Seeing whale sharks in clear water is still something I want to do - in La Paz we had murky water making it hard to see - nothing like the waters of Isla Mujeres.
