Looks like its sending some much needed rain into AZ, at least a chance of it!

We've had an "interesting" summer here in SoCal due to these storms... rain (during the dry season), swell and surge.

It does look like he is pumping moisture into the AZ-NM border. As he continues to move NNW, perhaps he'll send more as he starts breaking up. I doubt he'll send much to my side of the Rockies. Here's a pic of the recent action. Well, I tried to load it as an animated GIF, but I think the size forced it to Jpeg...

Draw a turtle in the dirt/sand with a stick, then leave the stick poking it in the middle. If it rains, you know it worked. If it doesn't, take drawing lessons.
