Hi, Unfortunately my G7 has packed up. I was delighted with the photos from it. However, I've been very disappointed with Canon as I've been told that it's not a common fault yet searching on the internet, numerous people have had the same fault (2 internal screws working loose and causing a short!) Anyway, need to replace it but need something a bit cheaper. Have been looking at the Ixus 100 which seems like a decent compact but just wondered if anyone can recommend it - or not? Pros and cons? Is it comparable in any way to the G7? Any advice please.
