We found a Goliath Grouper on Tunnels today with a spear through its head. My boss, Gerald Carroll did not leave the Goliath until he pulled the spear from the grouper. It was heartbreaking. This was a very recent spearing with a Rob Allen brand spear. It is illegal to shoot Goliath Grouper, they are protected for good reasons. Gerry, thank you. Photo by Mike Phelan.
