We did 2, " Christopher Columbus Dives today ". ( a friend's phrase) . Searching for new land, It's where you don't dive your regular GPS numbers but you watch the bottom finder, take the leap of faith and jump in. 1st drop was basically bug-less and a couple lion fish to clean up the reefs. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea........Conditions were: 80゚, crystal clear top to bottom 100' viz and 1.5 knots of easy gliding current.

2nd dive is 20 mph screaming winds topside and I back roll in on top a lemon shark near the surface, asking if it's trick-or-treat time yet (NO!). Found a great new spot hidden right in between 2 popular known reefs. Pulled four big,,, 4lb bugs off this new line. Might be something to this Columbus Diving thing.......

Thank you to B.j. Rogers and Steve for the great day on their boat - 2nd home.

Glad to hear you had a good day diving. Sounds like wonderful conditions. Just seeing that beautiful rich cobalt ocean behind you in the photo makes me long to be back.

Richard.
