Just arrived on Curacao

So how is curacao in it 1st few days of Lockdown? Are you able to dive other deserted spots?

I’m in Boca Sami in a house on the water
Drop the stairs and get wet. Lockdown is a PITA, but I still can dive.

Where are you getting fills? Can you drive to other dive sites on the day your rental is allowed?

Best. Vacation. Ever. Trip Report to follow!!!! Was able to dive the house reef at Sunscape Curacao and its one of the best reefs I have dove anywhere. Huge healthy wall, large shallow flats loaded with trumpet fish, scorpion fish, Spotted Trunk Fish (my favorite), and cowfish (also my favorite) over 18 hours underwater in 5 days even in a lockdown. Amazing service, awesome diveshop, great food, first vacation ever I wasn't ready to come home. Never left the resort except for boat dives.

This is my 5th trip to Curacao and I've always stayed in Boca Sami at an AirBNB or a studio apartment I stumbled into for my first trip. Boca Sami is about 1/2 way up the island so it is easier to the western sites as well as make it to Wilemstat
