I do a lot of beach dive and hear you can dive with a kayak to make it easier... I was looking at this one.

Sevylor U252/STK290 Coral Sea Kayak

any one here has the same one? any comments on it. Also what else would I need.

I would recommend getting a hard sided kayak. They will paddle straighter and allow more control. Try both and pick the one that works for you.

I don't know anything about that particular model. Different kayaks are made for different things so it's always a good idea to try them out. You definitely want a sit on top style. I have a cobra fish/dive yak & I love it. very stable & plenty of storage space. You will also want to have plenty of tethers. Tether EVERYTHING to the boat so if you roll, all is not lost. I tow my boat with me as I dive so you may also want to consider a tow line & an anchor. If you place your dive flag on the yak, it must be the larger size. The yak is considered a boat, not a float.
