Hello

I have a KENT TOOL 50 meter Small Composite Ratchet Reel, Right Hand Wind and it is not winding freely after being neglected for a while; I have been using a Light Monkey spool instead! I am going to do some Coron wreck diving and when I looked at the reel today, it winds with metal to metal characteristics.

I am thinking the reel needs to be taken apart, cleaned and lubricated. Has anyone faced this problem? Can you give any advice? Is it standard lithium grease for diving that I should use?

Many thanks

GJS
