Hopefully taking my nephew for a discover scuba dive at Catalina and was wondering if there was enough to do to keep the wives and three pre-teen boys busy while we dive?
Appreciate any info you all may have~!

They can snorkel, rent kayaks, or otherwise just play at the beach. There's also ziplining, parasailing, an escape room, and a place to rent motorboats, but check on age restrictions for those. If they're not too cool to do old people stuff with mom, they offer Jeep tours of the conservation areas, tours of the Casino (movie theater and ballroom, not gambling), a botanical garden, and semisubmersible glass-bottom boats. I think there's still a video arcade, and there's definitely a fudge shop that every kid will beg to stop at.

I'm gonna cheat and post a hopefully functional link to Trip Advisor's 'Things to Do' page for Catalina Island, California. When exploring a new destination for ideas, I often use Trip Advisor. Think they'd be up to ferry over to the mainland one morning for an excursion there?

See anything you think your crew would like to do?

Some things seem a bit pricey, but depends what my nephews wife is up for. Thanks for the link!

Try the self guided walking tour of Avalon. Takes you to a lot of off the beaten track places in Avalon, revealing things hiding in plain site. If you spin it correctly, it becomes a scavenger hunt for the kids to find the items using the clues.

MINIATURE GOLF!!!!!
Golf Gardens, right in the middle of Avalon is one of the best mini-golf courses you'll ever play. Not gimmicky, requires actual skill.

Thanks everyone~! You’ve given us a lot to research~! Greatly appreciate the friendly folks on this site as well as the wealth of diving information one gets here.
