i dont know if anyone is following the Norwegian woman that was hit by boat propeller 4 years ago. but it is an interesting story. padi has washed its hands of the incident

because after 4 years we still dont know if the dive master put up a flag. secondly. if you go to samui times. their are interesting articles being published about this incident. thirdly. padi just suspended the dive masters membership and trained the staff of the shop better in handling this issue. which is lame. fourthly , in the coming weeks their is going to be a sentencing in this case.

google SAMUI TIMES. its a newspaper..............then type in SILJE ...............the girls name. in search. their are at least 4 recent articles...........its unbelievable. the dive master should be in prison

basically , the dive master left the two girls alone . and some other divers nearby had to try to save her....... it was thier first dive and they were in 5 meters of water and the dive master had no marker above. and his boat was far away . shocking

Two different stories in two different articles. One has your version, the other has has an instructor training them, then leaving them mid training with two "DMCs". a tragic mess regardless.

4 years to get basic info. thais want this hush hush and the dive shops want it to go away. but the fact remains. fyi.........the two dmcs. were not dmcs. they were just divers. not diver instructor trainees.............5 meters of water. first dive..........on ko tao on sairee beach with tons of boats and track record of boats hitting people thier. the dive shops boat was far away. and no dive marker? criminal....................if u google the author of the articles name it will show more articles from him on subject

no seriously the more u read the more confusing it gets. the girls were on thier first scuba dive. with padi dive master. one of the girls father was on island and he was more advanced and he went diving elsewhere while the girls learned. they were on thier first open water dive. apparently ricky Collins the padi dive master was nursing a hang over............he lost sight of the girls in the dive. i dont know what a dm means........rickky Collins was a padi dive master. he was in charge. the other divers on site . initially thought to be apprentices were just regular divers .........athough this is confusing . why would other divers just be on the dive. in 5 meters of water . on the girls first dive????????? ricky somehow left the country even though the thais took his passport . and he is nowhere to be found. padi just took his membership away..........the dive shop still operates................in the coming weeks the thai govt. is going to hand down the sentence for this crime. unclear if ricky will be punished , as he is nowherre to be found. he ran off from country and is presumed to be in Britain..........he does have a fb page. the whole story is twisted. but what is clear thais want divers to come to ko tao and the slimy dive shops on ko tao want this issue to go away. the girl deserves justice ................thier first dive!!!!!!!!!!!!!
