Hey guys (Tobin), looking at the Large or long Kydex, which is better for me 6'23/4" or so 210 lbs. Long time customer and already have wing. How wide is the large vrs the long? Also been a long while since I used a hog harness, would hog style snug up tight on the larger or longer plate? I use heavy steel tanks and need them secure on my back. Thanks

The hog harness will snug up better on the large or long backplate because the plate is better fit to your back. Best bet is to call and get the actual dimensions. The information you gave him can't help him make that decision based on your height alone. You can be 6'3" with a 30" inseam, or a 36" inseam and that is the difference between a long and a small. The height guidelines are based off of back length, so you need to measure from the small of your back where you want the waist belt to go, to the middle of your shoulder blades. That's the important numbers because that is the top of the backplate, and where the slots for the waist belt go. With that number, you can call Tobin and he will suggest a plate
