We dove Laurel Lake today. Viz whuz pretty good. 12 ft. or so. I was suprised. The past few seasons the lakes viz has been 3-4 ft. Temp was in the upper 70's. Thermo @ 21 ft. but it was a mild mild thermo. Didn't go deeper than 29 ft. and felt no other thermo at that depth. Just some info. for you folks.

Sounds like you had a good day. Thanks for the report.

We dove Dale Hollow last year in September and the vis was 20 - 30 all the way down to the bottom at 35 feet (deepest we got) with a min temp of just 74.

Then this year we dove it in July and vis was only about 15 feet with temps of 82 until you hit a very sharp thermocline at 28 feet where the temp dropped to 68 and the vis went below 5 feet. Saw quite a few catfish though.
