Leery of Libelous Labels

So how does a Scubaboard Surfer enjoy lurking in different forums without picking up an incorrect label? I am NOT a Marine Scientist. I feel like i can’t just join any forum without waking up with the SCUBABOARD version of a Tramp Stamp.
I tried writing in my own version of an occupation, but that did not appear in my posts.
So is there a way i can choose my occupation label, such as Family Scuba Sherpa?
Anyone care to suggest alternate SCUBA titles that more accurately describe our unpaid Vocation to Vacation?

The ability to setup your own custom user title in your User CP to appear under your name (instead of New Member, Regular Member, Moderator etc.).
