Leopard shark entangled at 'the tunnels' Shaws Cove Laguna Beach

My son and a friend dove the tunnel/trenches at Shaw's and encountered a sm leopard shark which had a foreign object entangled around its neck like a noose. (My gimpy back was acting up so I didn't go on this one.) They tried to catch the shark but it took off...nonetheless if you get a chance... cut the 'noose' off as it seems to be harming the shark. One of those dive shears or a trilobite would have been ideal for this situation. Viz was pretty mediocre with silt and particulates (see video) even though waves and surge were low.

Maybe some divers would find it resting during the day and cut the darn thing off.

Really hope they managed to find it and help it they are my favourite marine animal here while instructing in Phi Phi.
