This Friday, March 21, we are doing a Project Aware cleanup under and around Les Davis pier in Tacoma. We will have the pier closed and you will be able to dive around it from 3pm-9pm. In order to participate, you will need to bring your C-card and a cutting device. We recommend your own mesh bag to collect garbage as well, but we will have a few available to use.
No need to sign up, just show up at Les Davis Park on Friday, anytime between 3pm-9pm, and look for our Project Aware booth near the stairs. The city of Tacoma has garbage cans for us and personnel to assist as necessary. For non-divers, we also need volunteers to help on shore too.
