Came across this letter in the op ed section of the Curacao Chronicle. I have not seen much discussion about the topic on SB. Would be interested to hear from those on the islands about the topic. All I really know about the topic is that when I was on CUR last year I heard from a local businessman who does business throughout the Caribbean that the Dutch took over temporarily a government on one of the islands due to local corruption that was related to the gaming industry. Other than that I have no knowledge regarding the claims in the letter.

Urgent call to all Caribbean nations to condemn and reject continuation of Dutch colonialism in the Caribbean region
