Worlds First Eco Robot Protecting Reefs from Lionfish

conceived by divers after seeing the devastation they have caused. Built by divers to address the problem at depths greater than what is practical or economic for scuba. It is designed to operate up to 100 meters (330 feet), this generation is an ROV that will be piloted by a person. (it's easy) Future generations could be fully autonomous. The general idea is to capture the Lionfish alive to be harvested and sold to market. "Eat them to beat them". The target depths are deeper than 80 feet up to 300 feet. Shallow than 80 feet, scuba or free divers are more effective. It's in the deeper waters where this thing comes into it's own.
