OK, second photo puts anchovy is out of the running. Has anyone to sent these photos to the Wilks?

The Wilks are a family from Canada that knows lots about marine ID's, know whom to ask when they don't know, are accomplished underwater photographers & videographers, develop and market dive-related accessories.

This fish has 2 dorsal fins, red ear herring and other Clupieds have only 1

Thanks for the additional tips. I know the ReefNet Fish ID DVDs, but I did not know these were by the Wilks. I will contact them and report back with any findings! If anybody else has any suggestions in the meantime, they are all welcome. I am learning a lot from all these comments. Thanks all!

They dont quite look like any that I am familiar with but I keep going back to juvenile mullet, Mugil spp.
