Longer Shutter release lever on dx-2g?

I have a dx-2g with a dual handle ULCS tray and I think that I would like the shutter release lever to be about 2 inches longer (maybe my fingers are too short), is there a replacement lever available? I would also like to get 2 fiber optic connectors in case I lose one (my wife also has a 2g). Please PM or respond and let me know. Thanks a lot, I really love the camera!!!!
