My wife and I stayed at the Royal Club at Occidental Grand this Summer and loved it. Nice beach, good internet, and the Royal Club gives you a private restaurant for all 3 meals and a small private pool. Jungle and mosquitoes were not an issue in July.
 
Thanks everyone! Decision made! We've extended our stay at El Cantil. Moving for 3 days is just silly!
