I already own a Calypso. But not a "J" model, until now. I found a good one for sale on fleebay and now I'm one step closer to having a rig like Hooper's. I hope you're making progress with your project too Brandon. All I need now is a mask also.

If you don't already have one, Brandon, this is the one to look for.

I still have my rockets, I got rid of the US Divers Al 80 a couple of years ago. Nothing wrong with the tank, just way out of hydro. The J-valve was a real turkey. It needed to be re-built every 3-5 years, I got rid it because I knew some people don't want to fill 30 y.o. aluminum tanks (it was purchased in 1980) and I didn't want to keep paying for rebuilds on the valve. The tank was from 1980 but I am not sure about the manufacturer of the valve. Has anyone else run across problems with a valve similar to this?

I have a 1973 U.S. Diver's Aluminum 80 with only 3 fills (looks new), like the JAWS's tank!. It's last hydro & VIP were back in the early 80's. J-valve, bottom boot, & ScubaPro backpack. Please contact me by jlewis1@gmail.com for pictures, etc. if you'd like to add it to your JAWS memorabilia..

Hi,

I am a Jaws super fan and Im in the process of trying to aquire some items from Matt Hoopers Dive gear. I am looking for a Aqua Lung Professional U.S. Divers Aluminum cylinder dive tank, a set of vintage black Aqua-Lung Wraparound mask with stainless steel trim with tempered glass writing on the lens, and a pair of US Divers brand- Jetfin flippers. If anyone has any of these items and would like to sell them or know of anywhere I can get them please let me know.

Thanks
-Brandon

Here are some images of the items I am looking for.
