If ya'll find a neoprene weight belt w/ ~30# of lead at Barstow's (Private side) Wendy Point, straight off of Stairs #1, about 100' deep, and next to a particularly vicious tree, let me know. My instructor would like it back... I ain't going back there any time soon.

Be proud, you had a bad situation that turned out ok, and for your deep dive you didn't go to CSSP and stick your depth gauge in the mud to hit your 62 foot deep dive for your cert, you did a real deep dive that had problems and you overcame them safely, thats the kind of crap that tells you, that you just didn't "buy" a card, you went into the $h1t and earned it.

Props dude.
 
yeah ... I read your report and you did very good and kept your cool. I'm sure somebody will find the belt. :)
