If I was diving trimmed out with my Zeagle Ranger with 8lbs will I need the exact same weight setup with my new rig?

Aluminum DGX plate, 23# VDH wing, Dive Rite Harness, Dive Rite crotch strap, two DGX weight pockets, negligible hardware to affix BP to W.

I believe my Ranger weighed ~10lbs empty and dry that I just sold.

Thanks for any insight.

As a data point: I lost 5 pounds from the rental jacket to AL bp/w

It really just matters how neg/pos your rig was in water. It’s very little weight so I’d try 8lbs and expect to drop around 2-3 at you weight check (10’, near empty tank).
