I need to do a 3000+ hour overhaul on a running Mako 5408 compressor, all valves, 3rd stage rings and final stage plunger/liner assembly. Unfortunately everywhere I have found these parts they cost more than a low hours replacement pump which makes this a disposable compressor! I have found 3rd and final stage valve kits from Lawrence Factor but nothing else on their site. I am considering getting a plunger/liner fabricated at an engineering shop.
Does anyone know of sources for these parts?
