Housing: (Mangrove Panasonic Underwater Video Housing) The video housing´s front case is constructed from marine grade aluminium, machined, anodized and protected with a special coating and the rear case is machined from solid Delrin. The camera mounts on a specially engineered stay. The housing’s sleek, ergonomic design feels like a natural extension of your hands and makes capturing that perfect video sequence fluid and easy. The housing also adapts to your future Panasonic video cameras. Redundant double O-ring seal system on the control unit provides maximum protection and does not depend on clamping pressure for security.
The camera mounts on a specially engineered universal camera tray that can be adjusted in a few minutes by the customer, the available length for the camera and its battery is 158mm/6.2 inches. With a depth rating of 200m/660 feet, it is the deepest-operating video housing on the market.

Control System: The Mangrove MVD is a full electronically controlled housing that uses the Infrared Remote Control for compatible Panasonic camcorders, the external controls on the housing are linked by 12 electromagnetic pushbuttons to corresponding controls on the camera inside the case, eliminating the need for the physical shafts that pierce the walls of mechanical housings. The electromagnetic controls do not penetrate the housing wall and can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance. With non-penetrating electronic controls there is virtually no risk of the housing leaking - typical with mechanical through-hole designs.
LIGHTS: Mangrove Videocompact K-VC-4 (x2)
The Videocompact K-VC-4 lighting system includes a pair of VC-4 lights with overdrive MR16 halogen bulbs, each emitting a staggering 2500 lumens. Featuring two output levels, the 70w lights can dim from high to medium power output levels allowing you to dim lighting for a quick exposure adjustment. The VC-4 utilizes a Osram Decostar IRC lamp, the IRC technology means a reduction in losses due to thermal radiation (IRC): Special bulb geometry and a sophisticated coating on the bulb ensure that the thermal (infrared) radiation is reflected and the heat emitted from the filament is reflected back to the filament. As a result the filament is heated further. This means that less electrical energy has to be supplied to the filament .
