Hello fellow divers,

I recently have purchased a used Inon Z-240 type 2 for my (also just recently) purchased Olympus PEN E-PL2 with Olympus housing.
Now I want to reed more about the Z-240 and therefor I searched the WWW, but didn't find anything I like.

Does anyone here know where to find a digital version (PDF) of the userguide/manual for the Inon Z-240 type 2?

Thank you!! :D

Kind regards,

Rene (Netherlands)

I have never found one. You can pretty much wing it using the Type 4 material.
Also, the following article might be useful to you:
Selecting the proper settings for INON strobes

Thanks! That website is very useful and I had already found it.
I also can't find a digital user guide / manual of the type 4 .......

Since Inon America went away there are no (AFAIK) pdf versions of the Z240 manual. And the manual is totally unreadable anyway. What specifically do you need that isn't on the Reef setup guide?

Go to
INON Z-240 Strobe [Overview]

Documentation is fragmented into separate pages, use the buttons at the to access the separate sections.

The only other this I have is a 2 page pdf from the now defunct InonAmerica [I really miss them], a quick start guide entitled: Setting up Z-240 Strobe with electrical sync cable and DSLR housings.
I can send if you wish.

Also some info on
http://www.inon.jp/technicalguide/top.html
It's translated into somewhat reasonable English. You may to look at it.

Hi Ken,

If you would be so kind......please send it to: rene _ weterings @ hotmail . com (without the spaces)
I think I then have enough info about this strobe. I don't think it's hard to work with, but I don't have it yet (bought it as a used item just a few days ago).

Thank you!

Rene

I was frustrated travelling and trying to find an Inon Z-240 manual so when I got back to Canada I was determined to fix that. Here is my best effort with the equipment I have to painstakingly scan the original manuals page by page. I hope this helps someone out there. I hope you can grab them on Dropbox as I could not see a way to attach a PDF here.

You are most welcome. I posted it a while ago and had forgotten about it. I hope others may find it useful as well. Cheers.
