Mares "twice" hood

I know the twice semi dry is an old product which is how I got one on special offer recently. The hood that came with the suit is stitched with no elasticity around the neck seam! Basically it will not pass over your head. Anybodies head. Five people, including one with a really small head tried and it didn´t fit. I had to purchase another hood of another brand which didn´t turn out to be adequate as it is too short at the neck to seal properly.

Was this problem adressed by mares at any time and can I get a replacement that works?

Can anyone recommend a hood which will seat properly with the twice as I intend North Sea diving and need a good system?

Would anyone with an inflatable head be interested in my original mares hood?

Hi,

This suit was discontinued around 2003/2004. One of the issues was the hood, hence the reason for it's demise.

Purchased a Mares trilastic hood yesterday. It has a great bib and will do the job nicely.
