Mares wetsuit size in asia vs. usa

I purchased a reef3 in Asia, the size is marked as #4. It seems sizes in the US are listed as S/M/L/XL/etc. at least online. Are wetsuit sizes sold in Asia (taiwan) the same as those in the US? or different? or are suits in the US also marked 2/3/4/5/etc? and the same size?

By my reckoning a #4 is actually a size L? and if yes. If my size is a reef3 #4, would that mean flexa865 L would be correct?

Hi there, U.S. wetsuits are a different cut/pattern and sizing is different as well. Please see this chart for a better description of U.S. sizing.
