Has anyone heard of MASA? I came across them while looking for this type of insurance for our non-diving travel, so I'm wondering whether I could use them for diving as well - since DAN only covers diving accidents.

I called MASA's customer service number and asked about their coverage for dive-related evacuations, and was told that the diver would be evacuated first to a hospital, and if the attending physician recommended hyperbaric chamber treatments, the diver would then be evacuated there.

MASA Assist – Pre-Paid Emergency Assistance – Medical Transportation

For me, this would be a non-starter, since if I ever need a chamber, the less delay the better. Not to mention having a knowledgeable advocate (DAN) setting things up for me.
