I've been having an issue with my Atomic frameless 2 mask. I initially loved how low profile the mask was but now I am finding that once it seals under water the glass is actually pressed up against my forehead. It can be slightly uncomfortable when I do focus on it.

Has anyone had a similar experience with a mask?

Is it possible the mask is just not a good match for the profile of my face?

Any advice would be appreciated.

how tight is your mask strap? the mask strap is only there to keep it from falling off, not for creating the seal.

This could be the issue. I don't find the strap overly tight and I don't end up with a mark on my face after a dive as I've seen with other divers.

Have you tried to blow some air in the mask through your nose after you descend to try to equalize the squeeze?

I had the same problem with that mask. Too close and uncomfortable. I dumped it and now use a Scubapro Frameless.

Had a similar experience. mask may not fit the profile of your face.
