MDX-PRO 5D Mark II Housing (Product No. 06149)

I currently have an EOS 5D & will be getting an EOS 5D MII in the next few months.

Thus, to save money, am I able to purchase the 5D MII housing & use it with my current 5D?

The EOS 5D is not compatible with the MDX-5D MKII housing. The camera body's differ in specifications.
