I have a older memory card for my DX-1G that take long time to record the pictures. I'd like to know if it would make any difference with the DX-1G camera to reduce this recording time if I use a faster card.

HI Benny-
Depending upon the image quality and size you are trying to record, the write time to the SD card can vary. Also, the internal flash recycle time tends to factor in to a slightly longer wait for the camera to ready. We recommend using a Sandisk Ultra II or similar quality brand of memory card. Going to an Extreme III card can help as well. The DX-1G can accept up to a 4GB SD card.
