OK. 1969 (I was 15). 1986 (I was 32). But the pitching is even better than '69 (Seaver, Koosman, Gentry, Ryan in relief) and the hitting equals "69" (though worse than '86. What you say?) GO THOR! (Well yeah, good pitching too in '86 but the stud on steroids).

We're the same age......and I still have my book of newspaper clippings from 1969. Art Shamsky, Ron Swoboda and of course Al Weis.

1969 saw me at 10 and rooting for my hometeam Orioles. What an upset! Oh, how I wish for those old days. Hopefully, your Mets can perform another miracle this year too
