I dream of living on a sailboat, cruising warm waters, and swimming or freediving almost every day,and tank diving when it’s feasible and desired. But my partner’s favorite vessel is his recliner, favorite reef is TV. Sigh.

The only time my favorite reef is the TV is when I'm watching my underwater videos :) Unfortunately I can't dive every day. Yet.

I respectfully disagree with this premise based on how I feel now at 58... The less I have of something, the more I value it.

I'm thankful everyday that I'm a diver.
And for having lived parts of the last twenty years underwater.
And for having seen some amazing things there.

My bucket is getting bigger. Just a few more years, then watch out world.
My mission now is to stay healthy.

I've enjoyed this thread immensely.
Thank you.
That is a good point, I think you are right!

Almost. @kablooey, I sense an element of sharing in your post that you did not voice.

Going there and doing it is the meat and potatoes, that is what makes the wheels turn. Sharing the experience with a special someone is the spice. Doesn't always happen that way..
