OK, Here is the deal for me. I just found out that I am going to be working until about 1 in the morning Sat night so if there is enough people that want to go down I will go, otherwise I am going to sleep in on Sun and get some stuff done around the house.

I'm going on the 4th. I have my prospecting line all tied off every ten feet...all 1300 feet of it.

Valles Mines is closed for hunting season until mid january. I spoke w. the superintendent and he informs me that the shafts are small, hand carved and dry, but I'm still going to go look. He also tells me that there are many old roads that are good for mountain biking so it's not a total loss
