Update: Missing diver found dead off Manasota Key
ENGLEWOOD, FL (WWSB) - Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is now conducting a death investigation of a missing diver off Manasota Key.
According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, James Little, 62, a Venice resident was the diver who was found deceased.
Officials responded to the call around 10:20 a.m. and rescue crews found the missing diver deceased.
Reports say Little was with two other divers.
The incident launched a multi-agency response from the United States Coast Guard, FWC, Venice Fire Department and Sarasota County Emergency Services.
