I'm fixing to buy regs. Have decided on the Scubapro mk16/s550 set up for my wife and I. Local dive shop has quoted me $310 per set. MSRP is about $388 I think. Any thoughts or concerns from anyone? We'll likely dive 10-15 times per year total, maybe a little more but only in warm water. Good choices? Let me know. Thanks, GT

Love it. More knowledgeable folks on the board think highly of it, too. Feels and breathes great. Supposed to be very long-lived. Go for it.

That is a great setup. My buddy dives that exact setup and really likes it. I have also dove it, and it breathes just as well as my Mk25/S600 that cost me a lot more. $311.00 is a good price.
