Originally planned to head for Carmel and the great vis, but the wind was up so we tried a new dive site on the Shale, right off buoy MY7. First dive with the fisheye dome and the 10-17 on the D300. I don't have a zoom gear for the Tokina yet, so these were all shot at 10mm. Didn't have a clue on lighting or f-stop with the new gear, so I blew out one edge of most of the pics and had to crop out the blinding reflection of sea snow. Turned out to be a nice dive site, and our buddy Jeff came up with a large boat engine (steam or diesel) well encrusted with Corynactis and the prop and shaft nearby.
