Great action shots! Question: how does a sunflower star catch a squid?

After mating and egg laying, they seem to be spent and just waiting to die, like salmon. There were several floating semi-aimlessly near the sand. Sunflower stars are faster than they look, too. I watched a great video on NatGeo (I think) a while back of a Sunflower star pursing an Abalone. They were both moving at a pretty amazing clip.
 
What great photos! Love the ling with the tentacles all over his face . . .
