When I dove in Moorea several years ago, I saw that the reef was pretty much dead. It had been decimated by the Crown of Thorns Star Fish. Does anyone know whether it's recovered? Have other reefs in French Polynesia that were also attacked, recovered?

I saw few Crown of Thorns in Fakarava in Garuae pass, but nowhere else thankfully.
