I'm thinking about getting a UK Remora and wondering how I can attach it to my gear. I know it comes with a hose mount or can be attached on webbing, but I'm wondering how it attaches to webbing. Does the webbing have to be threaded through or is there a plate that goes on one side of the webbing and attaches to the sheath on the other? I think I'd like to have it on my waist strap instead of a reg hose so I don't have to remember to take it out of the sheath when travelling, but if the webbing has to be threaded through, there's no way I can do that. Are there any other ways to mount it on the bc?

There are three mounting options: to the hose, threaded onto a piece of webbing, or attaching through your BCD / webbing with supplied screws. You should be fine.
