MRS weight pockets.. will they still be available?

I was just wondering if the old generation weight pockets, the MRS I believe (the ones on the morphos I am eyeing), are going to go obseolete? That is, not available anymore? A dive shop guy told me this, but I have problems beleiving that Mares, who have sold many many BCs with this system, will stop production as a replacement part...

Any insight on this? Phil?

We do have a new pocket, MRS Plus on our newer models, but we will have the old model availible as a replacement part. They are still in production and in stock.

Not sure who this dive shop guy is or who he gets his information from.
