[Waterdog Diver]

The Hazlehurst/Jeff Davis Dive Team was assisted by Georgia State Patrol, Jeff Davis-SO and Milan FVD in a vehicle recover in the Ocmulgee River today. Thanks to all that helped. The vehicle was located and hooked up in less than 12 minutes from the time the diver touch to water. Water temp was 51 degrees with a moderate current and zero viz. No passengers were in the vehicle. JD-SO had a report that the vehicle had been driven in the river late Thursday night. The vehicle was not visable from the surface. Job well done by all.

The truck was bought but not paid for by the new owner. I guess he changed his mind and was trying to take it back...was going to wash it first. The GSP did not dive, they had one officer there that helped with crowd control.
