I had settled on purchasing a GEO 2.0. I noticed on the LP website on the same page where the new ones are sold, there was a used one available for 1/2 RRP. After a dozen+ questions checking out if it was too good to be true, I ordered it from my VERY patient and helpful salesperson.
When it arrived it was indistinguishable from brand new. Had a minimal # of dives on it. And, it was shippable to Australia as Oceanic (like ScubaPro and others) have blocked sales of new items being sent overseas.
The discount offered on a new one was also very attractive, but the timing/shipping of the used one suited better.
