(near) IR light therapy

    A question: my wife suffers from tendonitis (it was a "frozen" shoulder?) and is receiving cortisone shots but those are expensive and a temporary "fix".
    What is your experience/opinion regarding the (near) IR light therapy? Do you think it will help treat the tendonitis?
