need advice on my next trip to bahamas

I am planning on going to Bahamas first week of November
but I never been there so i need advice from people who
has good places ( hotel and dive charter) at descent price...
around 800$ for room and dive per person .

anyone have recomandation ??

I've been to Greenwood Beach resort, on Cat Island, which I would recommend only for it's beach and atmosphere, and not so much for the diving.

Small Hope Bay Lodge, on Andros, on the other hand, was quite nice for diving, yet lacked the beach. Of course, if you're diving mainly it doesn't matter. Food was very good there too.

Hawks Nest, on Cat Island, also had good diving. I personally didn't like the food as much as other places in the Bahamas, but it wasn't bad.

I've got reviews of all these places in this sub-forum, do a search for them, they tell quite a bit.

If you are looking for the best diving, Blue holes,walls,shallow and deep reef diving look at South Andros,Bahamas.Just got back from diving with Jessie at http://www.androsbeachclub.com/ for 9 days.I've been going to So.Andros since 1993 and see something new everytime.
