I have about $1500-2,000 to put together a dive trip for my wife and I for 7 days. March 13-20th.

We want to go some place sunny and warm. Looking to dive approx 3-5 times a day.

Any suggestions on where we could go for that price range?

San Diego...Two wrecks and a kelp dive...The Lois Ann...

Also has a nice downtown, many restaurants...you can also include a side trip to Catalina for a day or two or three.

There are many other places in SD to dive...I just mentioned a few. Most are shore dives.

The most for the least money is Cozumel!

Notice: I didn't say best - I said the most for the least - -

Look at Fiesta Americana

$2,000 for 2 for air to Cozumel, hotel, food, and 3-5 dives a day...?!? :54:

Don is right. That's not enough money for Coz, because of the air fare.
You can probably get to San Diego as was said, or Florida.
You need about 4000.00 to do the Coz trip from where you are.

Where in Florida would you recommend?

Was there a turn signal there? Missed it...??

Okay, Expedia http://www.expedia.com/daily/home/ says you can fly from Seattle to Ft.Lauderdale RT for $357 each = $700 for 2, if you book with airline direct and skip the $5 Expedia fees.

Expedia also quotes a Mid-size car from Thrifty, with taxes & fees, for $233 for the week.

Ask for Debbie at Sunset Cove Key Largo, tell her that DandyDon said she'd give you 10% off, and you can get a nice bungalow at a cute motel for $85 a night with taxes. www.sunsetcovebeachresort.com

We've got $500 left, right? That could buy you 10 trips, 5 each, 2 tanks per trip, maybe more. With your qualifications, you two could do the wrecks - Gove, Bibb, Duanne, Eagle, Thunderbolt, followed by reef dives on the second tank.

And, Florida info used to get posted here: http://www.scubaboard.com/f26.html
